Thank
you for taking the time to visit my site. I hope it is an
enjoyable experience.
I
am a wife, the mother of two lovely daughters, Caroline and
Trisha, the grandmother of Nicole and Christian, with #3 due at
the end of September! I earn my living as a legal secretary but
poetry is my passion.
I
started writing almost three years ago shortly after my father
passed away. I have read that sometimes our creativity is
not unleashed until a personal tragedy strikes. Maybe so, I don't
know. I've known tragedy in the past but was never inspired to
write before. What I do know is that a fire burns within the
depths of every poet. We are compelled to write, to share our
expressions with others. We are very fortunate in this day and age
to be able to share our words with an unlimited, global audience,
something reserved for very few before the dawn of the internet.
This site is just my way of sharing the words of my heart. I hope
that you find some enjoyment, comfort, inspiration and perhaps
even a chuckle or two within these pages. I'd love to hear your
feedback.
If
you come upon a poem that particularly touches you and you would
