Different Paths
Although
our paths may never cross again
This
side of heaven I'll remember when
You
graced my life with friendship's harmony;
You'll
always be a lovely memory.
Although
the roads we travel separate
No
longer one, no one can confiscate
The
joy we've shared forever to remain
Within
the heart to sing its sweet refrain.
Although
we'll journey highways far apart
Each
thought of you shall tenderly impart
The
loveliest bouquet of roses fair
Rare
fragrant dew-kissed blooms beyond compare.
Although
the streets we tread lead different ways
Might
never meet again for all our days
In
passing think of me from time to time
Recalling
fondly friendship's lilting rhyme.
