Upon
The Shores of Liberty
Amid
the dust and steel debris
A
nation mourns her tragedy
Upon
the shores of liberty
Hate
plundered all security.
Lost
Innocents and innocence
Scream
loud for justice, recompense
Against
the awful violence
That
shattered freedom's confidence.
Amid
the rubble hear a shout,
A
mighty battle-cry throughout
The
land is heard; we're down, not out;
Good
shall prevail, without a doubt.
Home
of the brave, land of the free,
Emerge
as steel from hate's debris
Forever
forged through tragedy
Hold
fast your hard-won liberty.
